IQ is Not a Great Indicator of Intelligence

A functioning label is any descriptor used to place someone on a linear spectrum based on their executive functioning, adaptive skills, or measure of intelligence.
Because this is linear, you’ve got those who need a high-level of support on one end (considered the “most” disabled of us all) and those who don’t need any additional supports on the other (the goal for treatments aimed at “fixing” these deficits).
