Tessa Watkins is a non-binary autistic parent with a special interest in social justice. They run an advocacy blog as Just 1 Voice where they cover topics such as parenting, neurodiversity, disability, gender identity, and anti-racism. Tessa was featured in The Washington Post for bringing awareness for the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower. Tessa has so much passion for their community; they volunteer with Lebo Pride, Rep. Dan Miller’s annual Disability & Mental Health Summit, and the Trans YOUniting Health & Wellness Conference. Tessa also works professionally as a full-time programmer for a digital advertising agency and freelance through their business, AuRise Creative.
